The Washington Commanders will look to pick up their first division win of the season Sunday afternoon against the Dallas Cowboys.

While Dallas’ offense isn’t as explosive as Detroit’s and Philadelphia’s without Dak Prescott, who’ll miss his third straight game recovering from thumb surgery, their defense is among the best in the league at getting after the quarterback so the Commanders can ill-afford to dig themselves another early hole.

A road win in Dallas would do wonders for Washington’s confidence, which could be on shaky ground after back-to-back poor performances.

Let’s do one final round of preparation for the game by taking a look at our best bets, the updated odds, latest injury report and how to watch.

3 best bets for Commanders vs Cowboys in Week 4

3. Ezekiel Elliott over 54.5 rushing yards (-114)

Elliott has received 15 carries in back-to-back games. Look for the Cowboys to assert their dominance (or try to, anyway) with the run game. While Tony Pollard might be the flavor of the week in the Cowboys’ backfield due to his superior explosiveness, Elliott is still elite between the tackles and in the red zone.

The Commanders rank 20th against the run through three games and the Cowboys’ offensive line has looked better with every week that passes and could stand to improve with veteran Jason Peters getting more snaps at left guard.

2. Over 41.5 total points scored (-110)

We don’t expect a barnburner to unfold at AT&T Stadium, but 41.5 points is shockingly low for an over/under. For starters, the Commanders’ offense can seemingly only go up after Week 3 and the Cowboys’ secondary looked vulnerable at times against the Giants’ decimated receiving corps last week.

Assuming Washington’s offensive line doesn’t turns in a better performance than Week 3, the offense should put up enough points to help the over hit. After all, we all know the Commanders’ defense will do their part to help it hit.

1. Jahan Dotson anytime TD scorer (+300)

If you read our “best prop bets” article this week, you know we have Dotson scoring a touchdown. At +300 odds, the No. 16 overall pick’s touchdown odds are behind Antonio Gibson (+155), Terry McLaurin (+220) and Curtis Samuel (+270).

Statistically speaking, Dotson’s coming off his worst game as a rookie with two catches for 10 yards. But he was targeted eight times, which was the most of his young career. If he sees a similar target share, he should have no trouble finding the end zone with Dallas likely to play their top corners on McLaurin and Samuel.
