1. Philadelphia Eagles

The Eagles had a lot to prove on Monday Night Football against the Minnesota Vikings after they squeaked by the Detroit Lions in Week 1. Credit where it’s due because they made an absolute statement to the tune of a 24-7 blowout win.

It certainly helped that primetime Kirk Cousins showed up, but the Eagles dominated this matchup pillar to post. The scariest part? Jalen Hurts is quickly becoming a problem … and a franchise quarterback before our very eyes.

No, two games doesn’t prove anything and I still have reservations about his upside as a passer, but you can’t deny he’s looked awesome. Through two games he’s completing 69.8 of his passes for 576 yards and one touchdown and interception apiece, adding 147 yards and three scores (the most of any QB) on the ground.

Not only is Hurts trending up, but the Eagles’ defense rebounded after a lousy Week 1, intercepting Cousins three times and limiting all of Justin Jefferson, Dalvin Cook and Adam Thielen to less than 55 yards from scrimmage.

The Eagles are currently the runaway favorites to win the division.
