2. New York Giants

The lone remaining undefeated teams in the NFL? The Kansas City Chiefs, Buffalo Bills, Philadelphia Eagles, Miami Dolphins, Tampa Bay Buccaneers and New York Giants. One of these teams clearly doesn’t belong. Would anyone like to hazard a guess?

Yes, it’s the Giants, who’ve had the luxury of playing the Titans, who might be a miserable team this season, and the train wreck Panthers.

In fairness, you can only play who’s on your schedule and the G-Men have a relatively soft schedule this year. The locker room has clearly bought in to Brian Daboll and Wink Martindale has the defense playing up to snuff, which says a lot given edge rushers Azeez Ojulari and Kayvon Thibodeaux haven’t played yet.

It’ll be interesting to see how New York fares against better teams. The recipe to beat them seems pretty straightforward: stop the run game (Saquon Barkley) and make Daniel Jones and the Giants’ middling receivers beat you.

In the meantime, though, they’re undefeated and deserve the No. 2 spot on this week’s power rankings. It might not last, but that’s not what matters.
