1. McLaurin catches at least 10 touchdowns

While McLaurin has been a model of consistency in the target, catch and receiving yardage departments, touchdowns is the one key stat that’s eluded him as far as consistency. The Ohio State product burst onto the scene with seven scores as a rookie, but has managed nine in the two years since.

McLaurin isn’t the tallest receiver but his lack of touchdowns can be attributed to lackluster quarterback play and Wentz’s arrival suggests the $71 million receiver is due for positive touchdown regression.

The two have connected on countless deep balls at training camp and Wentz has the necessary arm strength to deliver the football in tight windows in the red zone. McLaurin is a savant at creating separation and Wentz’s arm strength could make the difference in Terry catching 4-7 touchdowns and 8-12.

If McLaurin makes that leap, he’ll catapult into the top-tier receiver conversation. Finding the end zone is the only thing you can hold against him in that debate. By the end of this season, that’ll no longer be a talking point.

Ten touchdowns for McLaurin in 2022. Put it on the board!
