1. Carson Wentz’s Chemistry With WRs

Wentz will undoubtedly be the main focus at training camp.

On his third team in as many seasons, countless analysts and writers believe this is Wentz’s last chance to prove himself as a franchise quarterback. While it’s the NFL and you can’t rule out him getting another chance for a desperate team, it’s impossible to understate the importance of this season for the 29-year-old.

A strong camp would do wonders for Wentz’s outlook for 2022 and we’ll be watching closely to see his chemistry, or lack thereof, with Washington’s receivers.

Wentz and rookie Jahan Dotson showed a clear rapport during OTAs and minicamp, but those practices lacked intensity. Will the new QB-WR duo be able to rekindle their connection with the intensity turned up several notches?

And what about Terry McLaurin? How will the team’s No. 1 receiver and offensive cornerstone look in his first string of practices with Wentz? The two recently worked out together in California with some of Washington’s other offensive weapons, but the Wentz-McLaurin connection — as well as the QB’s chemistry with the team’s other pass-catchers — tops our list of things to watch at training camp.
