1. Terry McLaurin

With all due respect, it’s pretty awful that Carson Wentz is far and away the best quarterback McLaurin has played with in his career. Entering what could be his last chance to prove himself as a franchise quarterback, Wentz can look like a top-10 quarterback and a bottom-five quarterback on the same drive.

At the end of the day, though, McLaurin should reap the benefits of Wentz presiding over Washington’s offense.  With one of the strongest arms in the NFL and the ability to extend broken plays, Wentz is an ideal fit for McLaurin, who feasts on deep balls and contested-catch situations and gives maximum effort until the whistle.

Here are McLaurin’s stats from his first three seasons.

  • 2019: 58 catches for 919 yards and 7 TDs
  • 2020: 87 catches for 1,118 yards and 4 TDs
  • 2021: 77 catches for 1,053 yards and 3 TDs

If everything goes according to plan, McLaurin should absolutely eclipse 100 receptions for the first time in his career. If healthy, the star receiver should also push for 1,300 receiving yards and between 7-10 touchdowns.

Everything we’ve seen and heard from McLaurin indicates he’ll get better after signing a life-altering contract, like fellow captain Jonathan Allen. Assuming that’s the case, fans should get ready for Scary Terry to be a living nightmare for opposing secondaries this season. We’re speaking it into existence!
