1. Ryan Kerrigan — First Round, 2011

This one hurts to admit, but it’s virtually impossible to deny that Kerrigan’s nearing the end of the road as an NFL player. The four-time Pro Bowler saw limited snaps with Philadelphia last season, logging just a 31 percent snap share. He very did little with those snaps, tallying three tackles, zero sacks and two QB hits.

Additionally, Kerrigan graded out woefully (for his standards) by Pro Football Focus. His 61.0 defensive grade was the second-worst of his 11-year career and his 58.5 pass-rush grade (just 16 pressures) was the worst mark he’s posted.

While Kerrigan produced 5.5 sacks in each of his last two seasons in Washington, he’s clearly running out of gas. He’ll turn 34 in August and we’re hard-pressed to say he’ll get signed by then. For all of his experience and leadership, teams will prefer to add younger, more spry edge rushers to round out their rotations.

If this is, in fact, the end of the road for Kerrigan in the NFL, he’ll be remember fondly in Washington as the team’s all-time sack leader with 95.5. The former No. 16 overall pick added 26 forced fumbles, 119 tackles for loss and 147 QB hits over 156 games and didn’t miss a game until his ninth season with the team in 2019.
