In my previous post, I wrote a mock draft that fits well within not only what the Washington Commanders want to do as an offense, but it also fit well within Carson Wentz’s skillset.

We’re going with a similar post here, attacking Washington’s holes on both sides of the football, while simultaneously selecting prospects that can maximize Carson Wentz’s potential as the lead signal-caller for the Washington Commanders going forward.

It’s no secret that the Commanders need a spark on the offensive side of the field. Washington’s wideouts, from injury to sheer inconsistency, combined with a quarterback that isn’t capable of pushing the ball down the field effectively, OC Scott Turner likely heads into late April looking for someone that can do it all on the perimeter.

There are numerous options there at pick No. 11 overall in the 2022 NFL Draft, and with Wentz looking potentially like a two-year investment, it makes sense to add an immediate impact player for him to find on Sunday’s. While some love Drake London, others love Jameson Williams, neither of those two will be the pick in round one.

I say all of that to say, Ohio State has worked out well for Washington outside of Dwayne Haskins, so might as well look to go three out of four from the Buckeye’s and add a perennial Pro-Bowl talent.
