player. 58. . Running Back. Washington Commanders. Rachaad White. 113

Arizona State running back Rachaad White is one of the better values for the Commanders to add here in Round 4 of the 2022 NFL Draft. White is relatively raw as a running back prospect, but he had a strong season for the Sun Devils last year after putting up 15 touchdowns and forcing 44 missed tackles as a pure-runner.

What makes White a better add than others in the fourth round is his ability to be an adequate receiving back when asked. Catching close to 45 balls last season for over 450 yards and forcing 16 missed tackles, White provides some pop with the ball in his hands that is needed in D.C.

As a runner, White’s rushing splits are relatively well balanced. He had the most success running off-tackle on the left side, but he’s also put together some impressive performances when running in-between the tackles and even when bouncing it outside the tight end on some runs on the right side as well.

Lastly, adding Rachaad White gives Washington a running back that can be a nice complement to Antonio Gibson, with receiving ability that mirrors a guy like J.D. McKissic, while also providing upside as an RB2 on rushing downs.
