Washington Commanders. Chris Olave. 11. player. 58. . Wide Receiver

The best wide receiver in this class, for my money, is Ohio State’s Chris Olave. The 6-foot-tall California native has put together a storied career at Ohio State, with three straight seasons of high level production and a skillset that immediately translates to the next level.

There truly isn’t a weakness in Olave’s game at the moment. He’s a crisp route-runner, very good after the catch, exceptional at all three levels of the passing game, a fantastic athlete that also excels in contested catch situations, Chris Olave is the most well-rounded WR prospect in the 2022 NFL Draft class.

While some Washington fans may want more size at the position, Olave can fill any and every role you need from him, and in the Air Coryell offense that will look to push the ball down the field, he’s an excellent complement opposite Terry McLaurin and Curtis Samuel. The selection of Chris Olave makes too much sense if you’re a team like Washington that needs game-changers.

Grab Olave, pair him with McLaurin and Samuel, with a steady dose of Dyami Brown, and Carson Wentz will thrive within the Scott Turner offense.
