Kyren Williams, RB, Notre Dame
The 2022 running back class looked good on Friday. Iowa State star Breece Hall was the clear standout, but Michigan State’s Kenneth Walker, South Dakota State’s Pierre Strong Jr. and Georgia’s James Cook weren’t far behind.
The same cannot be said for Kyren Williams. You could honestly make the case that no prospect hurt his stock more than the Notre Dame RB. Between his 4.65 40-yard dash, 9-foot-8 broad jump and 32-inch vertical, Williams finished with a 1.74u RAS, which was easily the worst score at the position. It also ranked 1,254th out of the 1,519 RBs that have tested since 1987.
Kyren Williams is a RB prospect in the 2022 draft class. He scored an unofficial 1.75 RAS at the Combine out of a possible 10.00. This ranked 1254 out of 1519 RB from 1987 to 2022. https://t.co/aJGWwlZKl6 #RAS via @Mathbomb pic.twitter.com/OmPrgUDdQe

We hate not finding one positive in a player’s Combine performance, but Williams’ entire workout was disappointing. A potential Day 2 pick coming into Indy, Williams will be lucky to hear his name called on Day 3 after this.
Let’s hope he flips the narrative at ND’s pro day.
Kingsley Enagbare, DE, South Carolina
This could be the deepest edge rusher class in two decades, so the pressure was on Kingsley Enagbare to piggyback off an impressive showing at the Senior Bowl in Mobile to maintain his stock. That didn’t happen.
Known for plowing through would-be blockers with the Gamecocks, Enagbare didn’t flash much speed during drills, logging the third-slowest 40 time of any edge rusher at 4.87 seconds and displaying ordinary footwork. He also tied Aidan Hutchinson for the fourth-worst broad jump (9-9) at the position.
Kingsley Enagbare is a DE prospect in the 2022 draft class. He scored an unofficial 6.49 RAS at the Combine out of a possible 10.00. This ranked 489 out of 1389 DE from 1987 to 2022. https://t.co/h8lLvK3qHN #RAS via @Mathbomb pic.twitter.com/TqUAO4MTg2

With guys like Hutchinson, Travon Walker, Kayvon Thibodeaux, Jermaine Johnson, George Karlaftis and David Ojabo all putting forth a compelling display at Lucas Oil Stadium and asserting themselves as the class of the incoming pool, Enagbre now faces significant pressure to rebound at the Gamecocks’ pro day.
