1. Home vs Jaguars

The Jacksonville Jaguars entered the offseason on a high note by crushing the Indianapolis Colts’ playoff dreams in improbable fashion. Reigning No. 1 overall pick Trevor Lawrence will even have a new head coach to look forward to after Urban Meyer humiliated himself and the franchise on his way out of town.

Meyer was clearly unfit for the job, so there’s reason to think the Jaguars, who once again hold the top pick in the draft and will possess the third-most cap space of any team in the NFL at $61.3 million, will show real improvement in 2022.

With that said, Washington has to win this game. Jacksonville was 2-14 before their upset win over Indy. They stink out loud.

Lawrence, despite all the hype surrounding him, looked unsure of himself as a rookie. In 17 starts, the Clemson product finished 29th in completion rate (59.6%), 23rd in passing yards per game (214.2), 28th in touchdowns (12) and tied for first in interceptions (17).

Throw in the fact that Jacksonville’s defense ranked 28th in points allowed and there’s no reason to think Washington shouldn’t win this game handily. They’ll be at home and the Jags are still in the early stages of their rebuild.

Get. It. Done.
