The Washington Football Team didn’t play a part in the playoffs, but Wild Card Weekend was extremely enjoyable for fans.

For starters, the Eagles proved they didn’t belong in the tournament by getting drubbed on the road in Tampa Bay. The Buccaneers scored the fist 31 points and Jalen Hurts looked like he forgot how to play the QB position.

There’s been ongoing discourse about whether adding an extra team in each conference was the right call and the Eagles being uncompetitive vs the reigning champs will only make those questions grow louder.

As satisfying as it was to watch the Eagles’ season go up in flames, it paled in comparison to watching the Cowboys choke at home.

When the dust settled on Sunday, Dallas was exposed as frauds: a team that feasted on the NFC East and struggled to keep their discipline in big games, as they committed a whopping 14 penalties vs the 49ers.

It was a perfect storm for Washington fans, so let’s dive into the best Twitter reactions after the Cowboys were sent packing.

Here’s a doozy of a stat to kick things off.

Washington Football Team fans loved watching the Cowboys lose.

Say it ain’t so, Jerry Jones. What’s the explanation for this?

The Cowboys’ loss just encapsulated everything they’ve been since their run of dominance in the 1990s. Despite getting all the publicity every year and having ample star-power, they don’t have what it takes to win in the playoffs.

What made Dallas’ defeat look even worse — other than the fact that they were the only home team to lose this weekend — was the fact that they, including the usually accountable Dak Prescott, blamed the referees.

However, Tony Dungy wasn’t about to let them get away with that. In a brilliant tweet, the former Colts head coach took Dallas to the woodshed.

Dungy really out here taking out the trash. What a guy.

Speaking of trash, the Cowboys’ garbage performance left a number of fans inside AT&T Stadium in complete disarray. If you watched the game, you’ll recognize some of these faces, including one teary-eyed fan.

Wait, why are they so upset? Did they actually set expectations for the Cowboys? A team that’s done nothing but come up short in the playoffs for the last 25 years? Speaking of which, get a load of this beautiful stat.

“The longest streak by any team in NFL history.” What a time, man.

You’re probably thinking how we haven’t mentioned the final play of the game. In case you (somehow) missed it, the Cowboys called a QB draw with 14 seconds left on the clock and zero timeouts remaining.

After Prescott took one too many yards before going down, Dallas never got off another snap. Their season literally ended without even attempting a shot at the end zone for a potential go-ahed touchdown.

The decision was awful to begin with, as the Cowboys were already within range to take two shots at the end zone. Why give yourself another 20 or so yards only to get one shot at winning the game?

The play call was excoriated by every analyst in the business, but ESPN’s Dan Orlovsky provided a perfect breakdown.

What’s that we said about Dallas blaming the refs?

Honestly? Let them pin the blame on the zebras. The lack of accountability shows they’ll just commit the same mistakes again.Mike McCarthy led this charge in his postgame presser, so Jones should just give him a lifetime contract this offseason.

We’ve only got two more for you. Then we’re finished. We just had to include this graphic of middling to below-average quarterbacks who’ve won more playoff games than the Cowboys in the last 25 seasons.

Is that Jake Delhomme’s music!?

My goodness. Is this really America’s Team?

We figured we’d end on a high note, so we present you with the biggest Cowboys troll out there, Stephen A. Smith.

Enjoy the rest of the playoffs, folks! With no Eagles and no Cowboys, there are officially no more frauds left in the tournament.
