Washington vs Giants Injury Report Week 18

This is our last game-day morning post of the season (insert crying face emoji) so let’s make it count.

The Washington Football Team has ruled out the following players for today’s season finale against the New York Giants: Curtis Samuel (hamstring), Ricky Seals-Jones (concussion), Montez Sweat (personal), Saahdiq Charles (knee) and Sammis Reyes (hamstring).

Samuel’s absence really isn’t news. No sense risking further injury, but his first year in Ashburn will go down as a wash, and that’s being generous. As for Sweat, we can’t fathom what he’s going through right now. As much as we’d love to see him on the field, he needs to take all the time necessary to be with his family.

In other news, Antonio Gibson, James Smith-Williams and Sam Cosmi were each limited at some point throughout the week, but got in full sessions on Friday to get the green light.

Washington vs Giants Odds and Prediction for Week 18

WynnBET’s Week 18 NFL odds have Washington, for the first time all season, as heavy road favorites. They’re currently holding a -6.5 spread, which you can get at -120 odds, so bet $120 to win $100. If you’d rather play it safe and bet them to win outright, -300 (bet 300 to win $100) is your required wager.

The over/under for today’s game is a whopping 38.5 points.

If not now, then when? Thankfully, the fan base doesn’t seem split in terms of whether Washington should tank this game for a higher draft pick or close out the season on a high note with a victory.

If you back the latter scenario, congrats, you passed the test and you’ll probably go to sleep happy, because we think Washington rolls the Giants today.

For starters, their tone deaf head coach had the nerve to take shots at Washington ignoring that a handful of players are weathering tragedies. Ron Rivera heard the comments and proceeded to dunk on Judge in a polite, but equally savage, response. This team has been playing for their head coach all season, and that won’t change today after Rivera stuck up for them like he did.

Washington 31, Giants 14.
