Washington vs Cowboys Injury Report Week 14

The Washington Football Team has ruled out the following players for today’s game: Wes Schweitzer (ankle) and Jordan Kunaszyk (hamstring).

That comes with a huge sigh of relief, but Washington isn’t out of the woods just yet as it pertains to their injury report. On Friday, the team listed Landon Collins, Jamin Davis, JD McKissic and Curtis Samuel as questionable.

Washington players hit with the questionable tag have typically suited up on game day, so let’s hope that trend continues.

Elsewhere, Tyler Larsen, Brandon Scherff and Ricky Seals-Jones got in full practices on Friday. While all will play a role against Dallas, Seals-Jones returning from his hip injury comes at a perfect time with Logan Thomas hitting season-ending injured reserve earlier in the week due to his (avoidable) knee injury.

But that wasn’t all. Because what better time to endure a mini COVID-19 outbreak than Dallas week? On Saturday, Washington announced they placed James Smith-Williams and Darryl Roberts on the Reserve/COVID-19 list.

Not only are they out for today’s game, but this (like Montez Sweat), puts them in danger of missing Week 15 as well.

This is a brutal turn of events for Washington, as Smith-Williams has been all you could ask for since stepping in for Chase Young.

UPDATE: Casey Toohill has also been placed on the COVID list. In other news, Landon Collins and Jamin Davis are expected to play, while JD McKissic is expected to miss his second straight game with a concussion.

Washington vs Cowboys Odds and Prediction Week 14

WynnBET’s Week 14 NFL odds have Washington as four-point home underdogs. They have -110 odds to cover that spread (bet $110 to win $100). If you’d rather bet them to win outright, they currently sit at +170 odds on the moneyline, so bet $100 to win $170. That’s pretty good value right there. Any takers?

The over/under for today’s game is set at a healthy 48 points, with both sides checking in at -110 odds.

We picked Washington to win earlier in the week, and we have no reason to walk that back now. The team is still a little banged up, but Dallas is dealing with some big injuries as well. Not only is Ezekiel Elliott playing through a knee injury, but Tony Pollard, arguably the better back, is a game-time decision.

Throw in the fact that Washington is playing at home and that Dallas tends to get rattled when adversity strikes and we like Ron Rivera’s group to come out as winners today. They also flourish as underdogs, so that’s an added bonus.

Washington 24, Dallas 20.
