1. Washington secondary vs Cowboys WRs

Washington’s defense has made serious strides over the last month and a half of play, and the secondary has been a huge reason why. In fact, the group is allowing just 223.6 passing yards per game during the last five weeks.

That said, Washington will face their biggest challenge since Week 10, when they held Tom Brady and the Buccaneers’ frenetic offense to just 19 points. While the Cowboys’ offense has hit a bit of a snag in recent weeks, it’s worth noting their WR corps will be as healthy as it’s been in probably a month on Sunday.

In fact, Amari Cooper, CeeDee Lamb, and Michael Gallup have only played a full complement of snaps together in four games this season.

You know the old saying, “when an unstoppable force meets an immovable object”? Well, look no further. In this instance, Dallas’ receivers are the unstoppable force and Washington’s secondary is the immovable object.

Kendall Fuller is admittedly coming off a rough performance vs Las Vegas, but he had been lights out over the previous month. And it’s not like he was burned for any big plays, so cut him a little bit of slack.

William Jackson III, on the other hand, is finally showing why Washington made him a very rich man in the offseason. From Weeks 10-13, the $40 million cornerback has logged an 81.9 overall grade and is allowing just 5.1 yards per reception, per PFF.

Bobby McCain is also coming off his best game of the year (77.4 grade on Sunday), Danny Johnson is thriving as a slot corner and Kamren Curl is just the definition of consistent in coverage and as a tackler.

Like we said, based on current form and pure talent, Dallas’ wideouts vs Washington’s ever-improving secondary can go in any direction. What we do know, though, is that the victor will most definitely go on to win the game.
