“You are what your record says you are”, right?

If anyone else lives by that famous quote from Bill Parcells, then the Washington Football Team, by all accounts is a playoff team.

Sure, they might pale in comparison to some of the NFC heavyweights, but we know for damn sure that none of those squads — Arizona, Green Bay and Tampa Bay — would want to lock horns with Washington right now.

Speaking of the class of the NFC, Washington will face off against a team, the Cowboys, that used to fall under that category. However, a poor month in which they lost three of four and looked out of sync against a undermanned Saints squad has folks wondering whether Dallas should be taken for real.

Washington will play Dallas twice over the final five games, but Ron Rivera’s side will get the chance to draw first blood this Sunday at FedEx Field.

Washington vs Cowboys Odds for Week 14

According to our friends at WynnBET, Washington opens as a 3.5-point underdog. They have -105 odds to cover that spread (bet $105 to win $100).  If you’d rather bet them to win outright, you can get them at +155 (bet $100 to win $155). We don’t know about you, but we could seriously be talked into the latter bet. The over/under for the game is set at 48.5 points, with both sides sitting at -110.

Washington vs Cowboys Prediction for Week 14

This is tough, because we can either see it being a shootout or a defensive slugfest if both defenses come to play. The Cowboys’ offense hasn’t clicked lately, but they should have their full complement on weapons.

That said, Washington’s D is playing a rigorous brand of football that we don’t want to bet against right now. As far as the offense is concerned, we have full trust in Taylor Heinicke and Terry McLaurin is eager to go up against Trevon Diggs, whom he absolutely terrorized last season.

We all know Washington has flourished as underdogs this season (they were a dog in every game during their win streak), and we like them to continue that trend and pull off the so-called “upset” at FedEx Field.

Washington 27, Dallas 24.
