4. The Reality Is, the offensive line is mauling.

Give the offensive line coaches a ton of credit. Give the players a lot of credit. Give Scott Turner’s commitment to the run a lot of credit. This has been the most impressive season from a Washington O-Line since 2012, and this has been with more backups, more injuries, and more shuffling. If this unit can continue their impressive level of play over the next few weeks, Washington will be IN every game.

With Sam Cosmi on IR and Tyler Larsen and Wes Schweitzer nicked up, it is extremely important that the starting five of Charles Leno, Ereck Flowers, Keith Ismael, Brandon Scherff, and Cornelius Lucas stay healthy, as the depth has got to be nearing a breaking point, but if they can stay together until at least a couple of those injured guys return, they’ll certainly give Washington a fighting chance at a playoff berth.
