After a 2-6 start, the Washington Football Team has rattled off three-straight wins to propel themselves back into the playoff conversation.

We’d like to devote all of our time to their recent triumphs, but a major announcement from a former QB has taken the temporary spotlight.

We’re referring to Robert Griffin III, who once upon a time looked like the savior that was promised at the QB position for Washington.

We all know Griffin’s career flamed out in relatively short order, right? Well, it appears the former Pro Bowler wants to share his side of the story.

On Tuesday, no more than 15 hours after Washington’s win over Seattle in primetime, Griffin announced he has a book in the works.

The book is titled “Surviving Washington,” and will focus on the infamous 2012 playoff game against the Seahawks, alleged mismanagement of his various injuries, and the toxic workplace culture presided over by Dan Snyder.

Former Washington Football Team quarterback Robert Griffin III is ready to tell his story.

“Now every experience I have ever had, has made me a better husband, a better father and a better player,” Griffin said in a promo for the book posted on Twitter. “But I want you to take this journey with me as I walk you through one of the most dysfunctional franchises in all of sports.”

Talk about an attention-grabber, right?

But Griffin wasn’t done there. On top of telling his version of what happened both on and off the field during his time in Washington, the 31-year-old is seemingly just as motivated to shine a light on the franchise’s polarizing owner.

“I’m going to open your eyes to the sexual harassment that permeated the walls of that building and give you a deep dive into the power struggle between one of the most powerful coaches in all of sports and an owner that many of you want gone.”

Here’s the video RGIII tweeted out.

With Griffin’s pro career on hold — he’s been out of the league this year — he clearly feels like it’s time to get everything off his chest.

Since the announcement, the former No. 2 overall pick has taken some heat given he’s on the record saying he’d “love” to come back to Washington following Ryan Fitzpatrick’s hip injury, and we’re not really sure why.

For starters, RGIII was likely just feeding into the noise. Believe it or not, some folks were actually campaigning for a reunion. Furthermore, if returning to Ashburn meant reviving his career, how could he pass up that opportunity?

Let’s relax a bit.

Regardless of where you stand on the former Offensive Rookie fo the Year coming off like a hypocrite, we think we speak for everyone when we say “Surviving Washington” will be a must-read once its released next August.

Mark those calendars, people. Based on the tone of his promo, this book is likely going to reflect extremely poorly on Washington.

dark. Next. What if Robert Griffin III never got injured?
