The Washington Football Team cemented themselves into the NFC playoff picture with their win over the Seahawks on Monday night.

All of a sudden, the NFC East isn’t out of reach, either, as the victory helped Washington pull within just two games of Dallas for the division lead.

A big reason for that? Well, the mighty Cowboys lost at home on Thanksgiving to the Raiders, who just so happens to be Washington’s next opponent.

This game has colossal playoff implications. An inner-division tiebreaker is the only thing keeping Las Vegas out of a Wild Card spot right now. They’re also just a half-game back of Kansas City in the loaded AFC West.

We’re still several days away from kickoff, but let’s see whom oddsmakers think has the edge in this matchup.

Washington vs Raiders Odds for Week 13

According to our friends at WynnBET, Washington is a 2.5-point road underdog. They have +100 odds to cover that spread (bet $100 to win $100). If you’d rather bet them to win outright, you can get them at +125 on the moneyline, so bet $100 to win $100. Easy to say that offers the best odds.

The over/under for Sunday is set at 49 points, so oddsmakers clearly think this has shootout potential. As of this writing, both the over and under are set at -110 odds (bet $110 to win $100).

Washington vs Raiders Prediction for Week 13

This is TOUGH, because the Raiders are no slouches. They’re also susceptible to the occasional stinker. One minute, Las Vegas is getting blown out by the Bengals or putting up nine points in a loss to the unwatchable Bears. The next, they’re dominating the Cowboys on Thanksgiving with millions watching.

The Raiders are only 3-3 at home this year, but you have to think Allegiant Stadium will be rocking with the team vying for a playoff spot.

There’s so many variables to consider, but the difference will be whether Washington is able to generate consistent pressure on Derek Carr. The veteran quarterback HATES getting hit, but he also carved up the Cowboys on blitzes last Thursday, so Washington better get home if they bring the kitchen sink.

Assuming Taylor Heinicke and Co. are able to rectify their red zone woes, the Football Team should squeeze out their fourth straight win. Look for Terry McLaurin to run rampant against the Raiders’ secondary.

Washington 28, Las Vegas 24.
