The Washington Football Team will shoot for three straight wins when they play host to the Seattle Seahawks on Monday Night Football.

This will be Washington’s second nationally-televised fixture of the season, and it couldn’t come at a better time, as FedEx Field should be rocking after the team knocked off the Buccaneers and Panthers in consecutive weeks.

The winning streak has fans in Ashburn dreaming about the playoffs, which are suddenly a real possibility if you take a gander at the standings. As things stand, Washington is just 1.5 games out of the second Wild Card spot.

With both teams heading in opposite directions, let’s see if Washington finally got over the hump and is listed as a favorite for the primetime matchup.

According to our friends at WynnBET, Washington opens as a half-point favorite over the Seahawks. By the finest of margins, the underdog streak is broken! Washington has -110 odds to both cover the spread and win outright on the moneyline (bet $110 to win $100), so oddsmakers clearly view this as a pick ’em.

The over/under for Monday night is set at 46 points, with both sides checking in at -110 odds on WynnBET.

Washington vs Seahawks prediction for Week 12

This feels sacrilegious to say, but the Russell Wilson-led Seahawks are broken. It wasn’t long ago that we were dreading this matchup for Washington, but these teams’ outlooks have reversed course over the last month.

Seattle is fresh off getting embarrassed at home by Arizona, which was once again without Kyler Murray and DeAndre Hopkins. Before that, they were shutout 17-0 by Green Bay in Wilson’s return from injury.

We don’t have to go in deep on Washington’s recent turnaround, but the offense has finally found a knack to put up points in the red zone and the defense is playing an inspired brand on football without Chase Young and Montez Sweat.

We’re predicting Washington to keep the train rolling in primetime. Taylor Heinicke can do no wrong under center and Wilson has looked surprisingly erratic in his first two games back. Not to mention, Seattle is down both of its starting CBs.

Washington 24, Seattle 17.
