The Washington Football Team thoroughly outworked Tom Brady and the defending Super Bowl Champions, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday afternoon. Here are the positives and the negatives from a massive week 10 win.

Two picks in the first half by Tom Brady, Tampa Bay giving up two touchdowns on the ground, Washington’s defensive line winning, consistently, at the point of attack without their two best edge rushers. Sunday afternoon was everything you did not expect from a 2-6 Washington Football Team.

The win on Sunday moves the Washington Football Team to 3-6 on the season, but this win transcends records, wins, and losses. This was a tone-setting win that although Washington may not make the playoffs this season, they know their identity and have embraced what is being preached in the locker room.

This was the first time in many years, emphasis on many, that a Washington Football Team coaching staff completely outclassed their opponents, from pillar to post, from snap one to snap 100. The coaching was fantastic, the effort and execution were as good as it can get all things considered, and after a 10 point win, the mind starts to wonder: What will this team be once they’re at full-strength AND when they find an answer long-term at the quarterback position?

Enough of the hypotheticals, let’s get into what happened. There were multiple positives and actually, there may be more positives in this piece than there are negatives, for the first time in this series’ history. Awesome accomplishment, I know. But in all seriousness, what a performance by a Washington Football Team squad that had no business being in this game, let alone winning it.

When execution matches the effort in preparation, this is what this team can do. So let’s break this game down a bit and bite into the positives and the negatives from a massive week 10 victory against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
