The Washington Football Team will return to the gridiron on Sunday following their bye. Their welcome-back treat? Facing off against a Tampa Bay Buccaneers team, also coming off their bye, that’s looking to rebound from a loss.

Washington will unfortunately be without some key pieces in the game. Feels like we’ve said that a lot this season.

If you remember, Montez Sweat is out for at least a month with a non-displaced jaw fracture. Additionally, Chase Roullier suffered a fractured fibula in the loss to Denver, knocking him out for the rest of the campaign.

We’ll know soon enough if the week of rest worked to Washington’s benefit, because they’ll need Curtis Samuel, Logan Thomas and Dyami Brown back in the lineup to contend with Tampa Bay’s star-studded offense.

Let’s see what the odds are saying about Washington’s chances to upset the Buccaneers in a rematch of last year’s Wild Card matchup.

Washington vs Buccaneers Odds for Week 10

According to our friends at WynnBET, Washington is a 9.5-point home underdog. They have -110 odds to cover that spread (bet $110 to win $100). If you wanna roll the dice and bet Washington to win outright, you can get them at +325 on the moneyline, so bet $100 to win $325. Talk about value!

The over/under for Sunday’s game is set at a whopping 51.5 points, with both sides checking in at -110 odds.

Washington vs Buccaneers Prediction for Week 10

Washington has performed better in recent weeks, but the discrepancy in talent at the quarterback position is too significant to disregard.

If Ron Rivera’s side stands a chance at keeping this competitive, the pass rush will have to get home early and often against Tom Brady. Looking at you, Chase Young, Jonathan Allen, Daron Payne and yes, Landon Collins.

Ultimately, Mike Evans, Chris Godwin, Antonio Brown and Rob Gronkowski (if he plays) will prove too overwhelming for Washington’s secondary, which doesn’t have the horses to contend with that caliber of talent.

Washington keeps it close in the first half before Tampa Bay pulls away in the third quarter en route to a 31-17 victory.
