New York Giants at Kansas City Chiefs (8:15 p.m. EST Monday night)

The Giants? Playing on Monday Night Football? Who’s responsible for this? On the flip side, the Chiefs don’t deserve the national spotlight either with the way they’ve been playing. We’re praying for a different result, but it looks like NFL fans will be forced to watch two dud MNF matchups in a row.

To their credit, the Giants are coming off a huge win over Carolina. Jason Garrett finally broke out of his shell and called a good game. Daniel Jones looked confident and he should get some playmakers back from injury.

At the same time, though, we’re talking about the Panthers, who are losing more and more confidence in Sam Darnold as the weeks go by. It’s no wonder they’re in the market for Deshaun Watson, because Darnold isn’t the answer.

The Chiefs, meanwhile are fresh off getting pummeled by the Titans. Every time you think Kansas City is going to silence their critics and remind everyone that they’re still the class of the AFC, they fall on their face.

The good news is that  Patrick Mahomes cleared concussion protocol, and he should have his way against a Giants defense that, despite holding Carolina to three points, hasn’t been able to stop anybody this season.

Call us crazy, but THIS might actually be the week the Chiefs get back on track. They’ll be back at Arrowhead and they owe their fan base a convincing victory after they were embarrassed at home by Buffalo in Week 5.

Chiefs win, 34-24.
