5. Green Bay Packers

Week 1 seems like ages ago, right? Since their season-opening loss, the Packers have rattled off six consecutive wins, the last being a 14-point dub over Washington. this past Sunday. We still have reservations about their defense, especially in the red zone, and we’d love for them to target a star WR at the deadline, but Green Bay deserves to be mentioned as one of the clearcut Super Bowl contenders through seven games.

4. Dallas Cowboys

The Cowboys had a bye, so they couldn’t hurt or improve their stock. It feels weird to say, but Dallas is one of the best teams in the NFL. Dak Prescott is a legitimate MVP candidate. Ezekiel Elliott and Tony Pollard form an electric duo in the backfield and their defense is a turnover machine all of a sudden.

3. Los Angeles Rams

The Rams played with fire against the Lions on Sunday, but that was always going to be a closer game with Jared Goff playing against his former team. Los Angeles is still as good as any team in the league. They’re a top 10 offense and a top 10 defense for good reason and are still the only team to defeat the Buccaneers this year.

2. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

What more is there to say about the Buccaneers? Tom Brady is 44 years old and is on pace to register the most prolific season of his career. Their offense is unstoppable when they have their full compliment of weapons. They were down Antonio Brown and Rob Gronkowski and still beat Chicago 38-3 on Sunday. Tampa could’ve scored 60 if it wanted, but Bruce Arians called off the dogs in the second half.

1. Arizona Cardinals

As much as we wanted to put the Bucs No. 1, it’d be disrespectful to have anyone but the Cardinals in the top spot. Kyler Murray gets better with each week and they’ve managed to resurrect AJ Green’s career. Zach Ertz adds another dimension to an offense that was already scoring over 30 points per game.

Don’t sleep on Arizona’s defense, either, as it currently ranks first in points allowed (16.3) and fourth in total yards (316.7) per game. Simply put, the Cardinals have looked like the best team in football all season.
