10. Los Angeles Chargers

We were SO high on the Chargers early on in the season. Who wasn’t? However, they left a bitter taste in our mouth after they got bludgeoned by Baltimore in Week 6 leading up to their bye. We need to see an improved showing from Justin Herbert and Co. this Sunday against the Patriots.

9. Baltimore Ravens

Speaking of Baltimore, we expected much more from them vs the Bengals. They were bound to come back down to earth eventually, but Sunday was just a reminder of how many injuries they’ve had to overcome this season. Still, however, we’re talking about a 5-2 team with Lamar Jackson as they’re quarterback.

8. Cincinnati Bengals

The Bengals are GOOD. Get used to it. Nobody gave them a chance to beat Baltimore on the road and they didn’t just win, they ran the Ravens off the field. Joe Burrow needs to be discussed more as an elite quarterback and Ja’Marr Chase is well on his way to nabbing Offensive Rookie of the Year honors.

7. Buffalo Bills

The Bills undoubtedly have the potential to be has high as 1-3 in the power rankings, but their loss to Tennessee in Week 7 was tough to swallow. That’s a team the newly-minted “best team in the AFC” should win and they came up short. Luckily for Buffalo, their schedule is a cakewalk over the next three weeks.

6. Tennessee Titans

Talk about two statement victories in a row. First the Titans upset Buffalo in primetime, and then they dismantle the Chiefs 27-3. Derrick Henry is playing like an MVP candidate (again). Keep in mind that AJ Brown and Julio Jones haven’t been healthy all season. Once they get going, the Titans will be tough to stop.
