Washington Game Today: Washington vs Chiefs injury report, spread, over/under, schedule, Live Stream, TV channel
By Jerry Trotta
UPDATE: Both Gibson AND McLaurin are expected to play.
Washington Injury Report vs Chiefs Week 6
The following Washington players have been ruled out for Sunday’s game against Kansas City: Brandon Scherff (knee), Sam Cosmi (ankle), Curtis Samuel (groin), Cam Sims (hamstring) and Jared Norris (shoulder).
Another week, another brutally long list of players who won’t be available…though it could grow before kickoff.
On Friday’s final injury report, Antonio Gibson (shin), Terry McLaurin (hamstring) and Dyami Brown (knee) were all listed as questionable. The big takeaway there is McLaurin, who sent fans into a collective state of panic after he was a surprise DNP on Friday after feeling tightness in his hamstring.
Our gut is telling us McLaurin will be active, but we’d still recommend monitoring his status leading up to kickoff.
Washington vs Chiefs Odds, Spread, Over/Under & Betting Pick Week 6
WynnBET’s Week 6 NFL odds have Washington as seven-point (+7) home underdogs. They’ll have -115 odds (bet $115 to win $100) to either win or lose by a touchdown or less. On the moneyline, the Football Team is +240 to win outright, so bet $100 to win $240. That’s what we like to call good value.
The over/under for Sunday is set at a healthy 54 points. Both sides have -110 odds, so Vegas clearly thinks it could go either way. Given how both defenses are performing, you won’t find us betting the under.
OK, prediction time. This is tough with so many key players questionable, but let’s just assume both Gibson and McLaurin will play. We still don’t love Washington’s chances to defeat a Chiefs side that has their backs up against the wall, but Gibson and McLaurin should provide a big enough spark to keep this close.
Washington covers, but loses a hard-fought game 34-27.
