Washington Injury Report vs Saints Week 5

The following Washington players have been ruled out for Week 5: Brandon Scherff (knee), Dyami Brown (knee) and Cam Sims (hamstring).

The Football Team will also be without Logan Thomas, who landed on injured reserve with a hamstring injury, as well as Jon Bostic and Torry McTyer, who were both ruled out for the year with pec and knee injuries, respectively.

Additionally, the likes of Antonio Gibson (shin), Curtis Samuel (groin) and Cole Holcomb (shoulder) were listed as questionable for Sunday after getting in a limited session during Friday’s practice. Daron Payne was a late addition to the injury report with a toe issue. He was also listed as questionable.

We’d monitor all players with questionable tags leading up to kickoff.

Washington vs Saints Odds, Spread, Over/Under & Betting Pick Week 5

WynnBET’s Week 5 NFL odds slate Washington as home underdogs, as they check in at +115 on the moneyline (bet $100 to win $115). On the spread, the Football Team is -105 to either win outright or lose by less than three points (+2.5). The over/under is set at 43.5 points, with both sides getting -110 odds, so bet $110 to win $100 if you’re interested in betting on the point total.

This is a puzzler. At full-strength, we’d take Washington to win comfortably at home. With so many key players already ruled out and potentially more to come before kickoff, however, this should be another nail-biter.

With that being said, the Giants just knocked off the Saints on the road and they were without Sterling Shepard and Darius Slayton. So many variables to consider! It’s a true toss-up, but we’ll take Washington to win 24-21.
