Washington Football Team Game Sunday: WFT vs Bills odds and prediction for NFL Week 3 game
By Jerry Trotta
Playing on Thursday night comes with its disadvantages. The short week is brutal at times, especially if a team is dealing with injuries. Those extra three days can make all the difference for players trying to recover in time for Sunday.
The positives of playing on Thursday night? You get the extra rest heading into the next week of action, which is where the Washington Football Team sits after disposing of the New York Giants in primetime in Week 2.
Lucky for them, because Washington will hit the road to face a Buffalo Bills team that is fresh off drubbing the Miami Dolphins 35-0 on the road. Suffice it to say this will be the Football Team’s toughest test of the young season, so let’s see what the odds are saying about their chances to pull out another W.
Washington vs Bills Odds Week 3
The Week 3 betting odds on WynnBET have Washington as eight-point underdogs on the road, which is pretty alarming. They’ll have -110 odds to cover the spread (bet $110 to win $100). The Bills have the same odds to win by eight or more points.
On the money line, Buffalo is huge favorites at -400 (bet $400 to win $100). If you’re feeling audacious, the Football Team has great money line value at +300 (bet $100 to win $300). It’s certainly tempting.
The over/under for Sunday’s game is set at 46 points, which isn’t surprising given Buffalo and Washington combined for 65 points in Week 2. Both the over and under check in at -110, which isn’t terrible value.
Expect the lines to change as we inch closer to Sunday.
Washington vs Bills Prediction Week 3
Another tough one. Washington failed to cover -3 at home vs the Giants, dropping them to 0-2 against the spread this season. Will their luck change in Week 3? That obviously depends if the defense can slow down Josh Allen and the Bills’ high-powered offense, which just hung 35 points on a talented Dolphins defense.
While we aren’t expecting the Football Team to win this game, we believe they’ll cover what is truthfully a disrespectful spread. Washington keeps it close through three quarters before Buffalo pulls away in the fourth.
Bills 31, Washington 24.
