Washington Injury Report vs Giants Week 2

The following Football Team players have been ruled out for tonight’s game against the Giants: Ryan Fitzpatrick (hip) and Curtis Samuel (groin).

That’s a tough pill to swallow for Washington fans, as Fitzpatrick and Samuel were two of the franchise’s biggest free agent signings.

Antonio Gibson Injury Update

Antonio Gibson gave fans a scare when he was listed as a limited participant at Monday’s practice with a shoulder injury. However, he returned as a full participant on Tuesday and was removed from the injury report entirely on Wednesday.

In other words, the star RB will be all systems ago vs the Giants.

Washington vs Giants Odds, Spread, Over/Under & Betting Pick Week 2

WynnBet’s Week 2 NFL odds have the Football Team favored by three points at home. The over/under is set at a lowly 40.5 points, which is understandable given how these teams’ offenses performed in Week 1.

As always, this should be a tightly-contested rivalry game between Washington and the Giants, but the field goal margin is just wide enough to give us confidence that Ron Rivera’s side will win and cover the three-point spread.

Expect Taylor Heinicke to provide the spark Washington’s offense needs to get over the hump against a stingy Giants defense.
