2. Terry McLaurin OVER 5.5 receptions (–108)

Let’s start by saying that we aren’t expecting Terry McLaurin to have a field day against the Giants’ secondary, which flaunts high-end talents like James Bradberry, Adoree Jackson and Logan Ryan.

However, while McLaurin might struggle in the receiving yards department, he should definitely manage six or more receptions (bet $108 to win $100). Those are pretty great odds, especially when you consider that McLaurin finished with four catches in Week 1…despite not logging a target in the first quarter.

When Taylor Heinicke relieved the injured Ryan Fitzpatrick, he made it a point of emphasis to feed McLaurin, who finished the game with four receptions (including a catch-of-the-year candidate) for 62 yards on four targets.

Say Heinicke drops back to pass 25-30 times against the Giants. You have to think McLaurin — as long as the pass rush holds up — will generate at least 10 targets. For a player with a career 64.5% catch rate, he should come down with at least six catches on Thursday, even if they don’t go for significant gains.

Dare we say that McLaurin cashes this bet fairly easily, so don’t miss out on the action before the 8:20 p.m. EST kickoff.
