4. The Reality Is, Antonio Gibson is a stud.

Despite his struggles with ball security on Sunday, Gibson popped off the screen in a positive way. His smooth and patient running style coupled with his speed and power gives Washington fans a legitimate star RB to cheer for this season.

Gibson looks most comfortable in stretch and outside zone runs, which Scott Turner should maximize, to create more misdirection and bootleg opportunities for Heinicke as well. Gibson’s quality, paired with the fact that run-blocking is the strength of this offensive line means that Washington will need to stick to, and creatively execute the run game if they want to have more success in the coming weeks.

Prediction: Gibson may have a game or two this season where he just isn’t effective, but don’t expect Week 2 to be one of those games. Gibson will get upwards of 20 touches for over 100 yards in total offense again.
