NFC East Offensive Reality Check Rankings

Dallas’ offensive weapons are at the top of the division, followed by New York, Washington, and Philadelphia. However, the Cowboys’ offensive line is a bit of a mess, with aging players and oft-injured stars. The Eagles probably have the best offensive line in the division, with Washington solid but not great.

New York’s offensive line looks to be constructed with the express purpose of getting Daniel Jones killed. Of course, this is the NFL, where a quarterback can make up for a lot of deficiencies or drag an otherwise talented offense down.

Dak Prescott is clearly the cream of the crop and Jalen Hurts is definitively the QB with the least background to inspire confidence. For me, the real question is whether Ryan Fitzpatrick or Jones is the second-best QB in the division. Ultimately, while I’m giving the nod slightly to Fitzpatrick based on his longevity in the league, neither one is close enough to Dak to be considered only one tier below. He’s turnover prone, but he’s never going to be lost out on the field. Danny Dimes still appears to lose track of his sense of command at points, and the pressure will be on him to earn “franchise quarterback” money with a strong performance this season that I’m not confidence he can produce.

So, put it all together, and here’s how I rank the offensive units in the Reality Check Rankings:

4.) Philadelphia

3.) Tie: New York/Washington

1.) Dallas
