NFC East Coaching Staff Reality Check Rankings
The NFC East has a grand total of three years of head-coaching tenure entering 2021. And while Ron Rivera and Mike McCarthy have had some success in prior stops, they aren’t exactly Joe Gibbs and Tom Landry.
Meanwhile, Nick Siriani has gotten off to a rocky (paper scissors) start with fans and media members in Philadelphia, and Joe Judge has been presiding over one of the most eventful camps in recent memory, with multiple players retiring mid-camp, fistfights breaking out and more gassers than they ran in Hoosiers. Even his offensive coordinator managed to cause a ruckus with this condescending interaction with the media.
I guess they run a tight ship up there in New York, but it doesn’t make me believe. Given Rivera’s track record, along with the proven and successful nature of his right hand man, Jack Del Rio, I’m ranking the coaching staffs of the NFC East like this:
4.) Tie – Philadelphia/New York (they’re both too bad to be third)
2.) Dallas
1.) Washington
