Logan Thomas

The tight end position has been a nightmare in fantasy football for several years now. While it’s deeper than previous seasons, the likes of Travis Kelce, Darren Waller, and George Kittle are a cut above the rest of the pool.

In our unbiased opinion, Logan Thomas belongs smack in the middle of the second tier of tight ends that includes TJ Hockenson, Mark Andrews, Robert Tonyan and Mike Gesicki. So, when should you consider drafting Thomas?

Like any fantasy draft, it depends on your options. In some leagues, you can probably wait to nab Thomas in the ninth or 10th round. However, the 30-year-old is a known commodity now and has been gaining steam as a breakout candidate.

Taking that into account, we’d consider him in the seventh or eighth round, especially if other managers panic and reach for other tight ends after the aforementioned star trio come off the board early on.
