Terry McLaurin

Does anybody else view Terry McLaurin as a WR1 this year? In 12-team fantasy leagues, that would entail him finishing as a top-12 receiver. In our eyes, that’s definitely in the cards for Washington’s budding superstar.

Despite playing in an offense that had no semblance of a downfield threat, McLaurin still finished with 87 receptions for 1,118 yards and four touchdowns in 2020. Those are jaw-dropping numbers when you consider that the Football Team ranked 25th in passing yards per game last season.

Now that he’ll be catching passes from a legitimate gunslinger in Ryan Fitzpatrick, who was finally named the starter, McLaurin could break the century mark in catches and post close to 1,300 receiving yards. Expect his touchdown total to increase significantly as well, because four isn’t nearly enough for a player of his caliber.

McLaurin’s ADP is currently 28 overall, but we’d see no problem grabbing him late in the second round if there’s an early run of wide receivers and you’re concerned about who might be available coming back the other way.

If you couldn’t tell, we have big expectations for Scary Terry this year.
