If there’s one person people should be watching when Washington plays the Bengals, it’s when DeAndre Carter steps back to return punts.

Carter will not see any playing time at wide receiver, but he should be the primary kick and punt returner. Ricky Seals-Jones has enjoyed a solid preseason and fan favorite Sammis Reyes will have every chance to make his case, but is likely heading to the practice squad. Logan Thomas is poised to vault himself into a top five tight end in the league this season.
Offensive Line
- Starter: Charles Leno
- Starter: Ereck Flowers
- Starter: Chase Roullier
- Starter: Brandon Scherff
- Starter: Sam Cosmi
- Cornelius Lucas
- Saahdiq Charles
- Wes Schweitzer
- Tyler Larsen
Ereck Flowers is beginning to assert himself during the preseason and has likely secured the starting left guard position. Sam Cosmi continues to have a good summer and is on track to start at right tackle on opening day, and Tyler Larsen seems to have secured the backup center role from Keith Ismael.
