1. Will Jamin Davis look like he’s thinking, or look fast and instinctual?

The coaching staff has thrown a ton at Davis during OTAs and training camp. I’ll be very intrigued to see how he looks in game action. If he looks like he’s thinking and trying not to make mistakes, then the growth trajectory might be slower than hoped.

If he looks like he’s playing fast and instinctual already, then DROY is absolutely a possibility. Davis has all the tools, the right mentality, and all the opportunity to be the next superstar linebacker for Ron Rivera, a la Luke Kuechly and Thomas Davis. But we’ll learn a lot about the possibility of him reaching those lofty heights by how he looks in his first preseason action.

I’m ready for football. Real football. And while the preseason isn’t that, at least it gives us our first glimpses of what’s going to be possible this season in Washington. Buckle up.
