
2. Kyle Allen might be the odd man out of the QB room.
With the reports that Indianapolis has lost Carson Wentz for a chunk of the season due to injury, JP Finlay of NBCS is speculating that Indy might be in the market for a serviceable starter.
Feels like Indy should call Washington. 3 QBs with starting experience on this roster and none are considered long-term answer. More short term fix and the Colts need one

Clearly, Allen is running 3rd in the QB competition here in Washington. Could he be trade bait to get some more depth onto this roster in another area? Washington could certainly use more draft capital to go after a QB of the future next year. They could also use a better option than Casey Toohill and James Smith-Williams as backups to Chase Young and Montez Sweat. A trade is an intriguing possibility. Allen will need to show he’s healthy over the coming few days for that to be a real possibility.
