No. 2 – Wide Receiver

2021 – Terry McLaurin, Curtis Samuel, Cam Sims, Dyami Brown, Adam Humphries

2020 – Terry McLaurin, Cam Sims, Isaiah Wright, Steven Sims, Dontrelle Inman

Despite the carousel of poor QB play in 2020, star WR Terry McLaurin still found a way to produce with over 1,110 yards receiving on 87 catches.  Washington landed their cornerstone player as a third-round steal in the 2019 draft.  Speaking of the draft, McLaurin was the only player at the position who was drafted. The rest of the 2020 WR group consisted of undrafted free agents.

Washington needed more pedigree and experience at the position, so they used draft capital and free agent signings to upgrade the position. They added a dynamic playmaker (Samuel), another potential third-round gem (Brown), and their first legitimate slot WR (Humphries) since the departure of Crowder.

This group is overloaded with speed and dynamic playmakers. Newly-acquired QB Ryan Fitzpatrick better be smiling with this arsenal of talent at his disposal.
