The Washington Football Team’s minicamp is over, and training camp doesn’t start until a couple months down the road.

So it’s as good a time as any to do a way-too-early mock draft for 2022.

I’ve already started kicking the 2022 draft analysis into gear over at Pro Football Network. I have six preseason draft profiles complete, on players such as Ohio State WR Garrett Wilson, Cincinnati CB Ahmad Gardner, Ohio State DE Zach Harrison, Florida CB Kaiir Elam, Ohio State CB Sevyn Banks, and Penn State OT Rasheed Walker. Banks and Walker aren’t out yet, but the rest are available.

If you want to check those out, feel free. But today, we’re taking the draft to the Washington Football Team, and analyzing what they might do in a seven-round slate, if our early impression of team needs remains the same through the 2021 campaign.

It’s worth noting that the draft order for this mock was decided by the Las Vegas odds regarding the final 2021 NFL standings. It’s very possible the Washington Football Team picks later than they are here, but since it’s projective, all possibilities are still on the table.
