Cornerback

Rostered: (6) Kendall Fuller, William Jackson III, Jimmy Moreland, Bobby McCain, Benjamin St-Juste, Danny Johnson

For the Washington Football Team, the addition of William Jackson III could go down as one of the smartest and most efficient free agent moves of the offseason.

Having said that, while adding Jackson should help greatly, don’t discount the additions of Bobby McCain and Benjamin St-Juste.

St-Juste in particular has shown well according to most reports at minicamp. His size and willingness to mix it up should do him well. McCain has positional versatility so he can play at both corner and safety.

Another name to watch out for at corner is veteran Darryl Roberts. Roberts could unseat Danny Johnson, as Johnson is being kept in this scenario for his return abilities on special teams. If another player proves to be a better returner then Johnson could become expendable.

Washington will need this group to produce against the many potent offenses they will face in 2021. Aaron Rodgers, Tom Brady, Patrick Mahomes, and Russell Wilson, among others, will surely test this group early and often.
