Offensive Line

Rostered: (9) Charles Leno Jr., Wes Schweitzer, Chase Roullier, Brandon Scherff, Sam Cosmi, Cornelius Lucas, Saahdiq Charles, Ereck Flowers, Keith Ismael

When analyzing who may start and who may serve as depth along the o-line, the exciting thing about these nine players is that even those who eventually serve as depth could start at a serviceable level.

For purposes of this prediction, starters include Leno Jr., Flowers, Roullier, Scherff, and Cosmi from left to right. Primary backups set up to be Lucas, Charles, and Schweitzer. This unit is designed to have a crazy amount of positional versatility if injuries were to strike.

When Washington was able to be successful in its franchise history, the “Hogs” along the offensive line were a primary reason why. These nine players are not that. What they are though is an athletic bunch of people-movers who are being developed into something that could be special within the next few years.

Modern NFL offenses are starting to require their lineman to be position flexible, smart, and to have the ability to move effectively in space. This unit is seemingly being built to accomplish these requirements.
