The Washington Football Team has not seen a lot of fantasy relevant players in the last few seasons. Will this year be any different?

Fantasy football and the Washington Football Team are two things that you generally don’t put together. In the last decade, I could count the number of fantasy relevant players in Washington on one hand.

However, things are starting to look up for the Washington Football Team after this past offseason. The team revamped its offense with some speedy weapons, to go along with its deadly defense.

We all know that fantasy football is a different game though — real world success doesn’t always produce fantasy numbers. Just ask arguably the greatest quarterback of all time, Tom Brady. Brady averaged less points per game than rookie Justin Herbert and second-year starter Kyler Murray last season. This upcoming season, Brady is being ranked as the 10th best QB in terms of fantasy, but 2nd in terms of reality.

With all of that being said, what makes a player fantasy relevant? Well, it ultimately comes down to just putting up big numbers. For the first time since Kirk Cousins was under center, Washington has a quarterback, receivers, and running backs that can create big plays down the field and get into the endzone consistently. What does that mean? Fantasy gold.

Now let’s take a deep dive into each position for Washington this season.
