Additional Thoughts

The linebackers are very much improved from last year, but more is needed.  The depth is an immediate concern and must be addressed before or during training camp.  The outside linebackers deserve the most attention at this time.  To be frankly honest, three new free agent linebackers for depth (each position) are probably needed.

Landon Collins seems rather chilly to the idea of playing at linebacker, but the coaching staff has hinted during the offseason that he could see some action at OLB this season.  Also, Collins may not be available when the season begins.  The former Crimson Tide standout is still recovering from an Achilles injury that he suffered last season.  The Riggo’s Rag team will continue to monitor his progress this summer.
