Three teams that could consider trading for Morgan Moses.

The Washington Football Team did a good job build up depth at the offensive tackle spot during the 2021 NFL offseason.

Over the last few weeks, they drafted Sam Cosmi and signed Charles Leno Jr. in free agency after the Chicago Bears released him. Many believed those moves were about adding depth and competition to the fold, and it made Washington’s offensive line look pretty good on paper.

However, it appears that there may have been another motive.

On Tuesday, it was reported that Washington is looking to move on from long-time right tackle Morgan Moses. The team is hoping to trade him, but either way, it looks like they’re ready to try out Cosmi or Saahdiq Charles at the right tackle spot.

Moses, 30, is still a solid blocker and should draw some interest on the trade market. After all, his cap hit for 2021 is under $10 million. That will make him relatively cost-effective compared to some other veterans that may be available on the open market.

And in terms of compensation, Washington will probably be looking for a mid-Day 3 pick to part with Moses. Or a fourth-round pick in exchange for Moses and another Day 3 pick.

Will the Washington Football Team be able to trade Morgan Moses? That much remains to be seen. But there should at least be a few teams on the open market that could hold an interest in Moses. Here’s a look at three potential top suitors.

Honorable Mention: Chicago Bears.
