Rounds 3-4

Round 3

Mock Prediction:  Amon-Ra St. Brown, Wide Receiver, Southern California

Mock Prediction: Tommy Tremble, Tight End, Notre Dame

Draft Selection:  Benjamin St-Juste, Cornerback, Minnesota

Draft Selection:  Dyami Brown, Wide Receiver, North Carolina

Almost no one expected the Washington Football Team would select a cornerback in this round, but one was taken with the 74th pick.  Benjamin St-Juste is a total miss for me and while the idea of taking a tight end seemed inevitable, that didn’t come to fruition.

Washington did select a wide receiver and that is a decent hit.  When looking at both receivers, there is a difference between St. Brown and Dyami Brown.  St. Brown is more of a possession receiver and Brown is a downfield burner who will open up the offense for other receivers.

Grade: C-

Round 4

Mock Prediction:  Rhamondre Stevenson, Running Back, Oklahoma

Draft Selection:  John Bates, Tight End, Boise St.

The tight end position was addressed on day three with the selection of John Bates – a round later than what I was expecting.  Also, the mock draft featured a talented running back that I thought would be there in this round for Washington.  This is a complete and total miss.
