2021 Washington Football Team Mock Draft: Round 4, Pick 124

Will Pick: WR Demetric Felton, UCLA

Washington is able to add their potential slot weapon here. Felton played both running back and receiver in college but pro teams see him as a receiver at the next level. In a way, he’s the inverse Antonio Gibson.

During his career, Felton racked up 1,101 rushing yards and seven TDs on 233 carries while adding 99 catches for 958 yards and eight TDs through the air. He’s the definition of well-rounded and would be a good fit for the multi-faceted Scott Turner offense that likes to use players in a variety of different roles.

At 5-foot-10, 200 pounds, Felton looks like a sturdy slot receiver. He performed well during the pre-draft process and the Senior Bowl to give himself Day 2 potential. If he’s available in the fourth, he looks like a great fit in Washington and between him, Gibson, and Curtis Samuel, Turner would be able to get really creative with his starting package.

Should Pick: WR Demetric Felton, UCLA

Felton is the perfect fit here. There are some other prospects that make sense, but if he’s available in Round 4, he should be the selection.

Dark Horse: RB Rhamondre Stevenson, Oklahoma

Stevenson was mentioned as a potential fourth-round pick in another mock on this site. He has a 246-pound frame and is hard to bring down, so there is some appeal to considering him. However, this may be earlier than Washington wants to grab a running back, thus, Stevenson is the dark horse.
