2021 NFL mock draft: Picks 29-32

29. Green Bay Packers: OT Teven Jenkins, Oklahoma State. The Packers should spend this pick on something to help Aaron Rodgers or on a cornerback to upgrade their defense. Greg Newsome makes sense here, but Teven Jenkins is too good to pass on at this point.

Jenkins is a bully on the field and has the makings of a great right tackle at the next level. He’s very athletic, is a good run blocker, and should do well enough in the passing game to protect Aaron Rodgers across from David Bakhtiari.

If the Packers want a player that profiles more similarly to Bakhtiari, a guy like Dillon Radunz could make sense here. But for the time being, Jenkins is the better option and he would allow Billy Turner to kick back inside to guard, a position better suited for his skill set.

30. Buffalo Bills: CB Greg Newsome, Northwestern. The Bills brought Levi Wallace back on the cheap to play across from Tre’Davious White, but he’s on a one-year deal.

Newsome was stellar in just three games last year and knocked down seven passes for Northwestern. Teams avoided throwing at him, so if he can bring his ball skills and tenacity to the NFL, he and White could one day become the league’s best cornerback tandem.

31. Baltimore Ravens: OT Liam Eichenberg, Notre Dame. The Ravens will probably go with a tackle, center, or edge rusher here. While the team is rumored to love Landon Dickerson because of his leadership and high character, the center’s injuries could drop him into Day 2 of the draft.

With that said, the Ravens could consider Eichenberg here. They had success with Fighting Irish tackle Ronnie Stanley and Eichenberg is a great technician with solid tape. At the very least, he should be a good starting right tackle at the next level. At the best, the Ravens could give themselves an excellent tackle tandem for the next half a decade.

32. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: EDGE Azeez Ojulari, Georgia. The Bucs are truly in best player available mode here and have a lot of options. They could go with an offensive tackle like Dillon Radunz or a defensive tackle like Christian Barmore, but they’ll upgrade their pass rush with Ojulari.

Ojulari had 8.5 sacks last year to lead the SEC and he could spend a year learning behind Jason Pierre-Paul and Shaq Barrett as a sub-rusher. That would make the Bucs all the more threatening as a potential contender.

That’s it for my mock drafts in 2021. We’ll soon see what happens but hopefully, this paints a picture of at least one possibility.
