Washington Football Team should be wary of these potential busts in 2021 NFL Draft
Busts the Washington Football Team should be wary of in the 2021 NFL Draft.
The Washington Football Team is hoping to continue a successful rebuild by adding quality players in the 2021 NFL Draft. They must avoid prospects that could bust at the next level.
When Washington Football Team head coach Ron Rivera was hired in early January of 2020, it signaled that the organization had failed to establish winning credentials with the previous regime(s). It was a pattern that was all too familiar with fans of the Burgundy and Gold and it was obvious that another team rebuild was coming to town.
Fans also need to realize and understand that the commitment to rebuilding will continue in this draft and likely into the 2022 offseason.
In the coming days, Washington’s front office will move forward with another piece of the rebuild as the league gathers along the Cleveland Lakefront for the 2021 NFL Draft. The picturesque setting on Ohio’s Lake Erie is where they could take another step towards becoming the winning franchise that many fans have desired for more than two decades.
However, a poor draft could delay that rebuild and set the team back by a year or two.
For today, we will take a round-by-round look at players who could bust at the next level. It’s not a pleasant subject to talk about or consider, but high-profile busts happen and fans of the Burgundy and Gold can only hope there will be an avoidance of any draft disasters that could be lurking on the horizon.
Busts can happen quickly or take a year or two to acknowledge. The players listed today could bust, but we wish them well and the hope is that I could be wrong in my analyses. Let’s jump right in and see what yours truly is visioning in the Riggo’s Rag crystal ball.
